In this case we are asked to determine whether the district court properly denied an application for post-conviction relief, following an evidentiary hearing, wherein Earl Andre Howard claimed he had been rendered ineffective assistance of counsel at sentencing. We determine that there was substantial and competent evidence to support the district courts ruling, and we affirm.
